From the volcanic wonders and pristine beaches of Jeju to the vibrant culture and modernity of Busan, you will find that these two cities vastly varies while capturing the essence of both natural beauty and urban life.

This 7D6N itinerary takes you right into the heart of Jeju and Busan, where ancient traditions blend harmoniously with contemporary allure, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

DAY 1: Arrival in Jeju

As you step off your flight at Jeju International Airport, a warm South Korean welcome awaits you. We highly recommend engaging a local guide-cum-driver on your first day on 'Island of the Gods' and have them meet you at the airport. They will be ready to assist you throughout your stay and transport you around without having to worry about your luggage before check in.

Tip: In South Korea, cars are driven on the right side of the road and are the steering wheel is on the left side. So for first timers planning to rent a car for the duration of their stay, this can be quite jarring. Having a local driver will help ease the stress of moving about especially on your first day in Jeju.

Your first stop will be Jeju's iconic landmark. Located at Iho Beach, the iconic Iho Tewoo Horse Lighthouses are conveniently located close to downtown Jeju City. Perched majestically on a coastal promontory, this historic beacon is not just a navigational aid but a symbol of Jeju's rich maritime heritage. You'll have the opportunity to explore the area, taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding coastline.

The vibrant Dongmun Market, one of Jeju's most famous and bustling markets is a great spot for you to get a taste of Jeju's local cuisine. This market offers a colorful array of fresh produce, seafood, traditional snacks, and artisan crafts. Stroll through the labyrinthine alleys, where the lively atmosphere and aromatic scents will invigorate your senses. Be sure to try some local delicacies and perhaps pick up a unique souvenir.

This is just a taste of what Jeju has to offer. After a day filled with exploration, it's time to check in to your comfortable hotel or accommodation. As you settle in, you'll find that Jeju's hospitality is as warm as its climate. Unwind, freshen up, and prepare for the adventures that await in the coming days.

DAY 2: Jeju's Natural Wonders and Culture

Rise and shine early as an exhilarating day of exploration awaits on the eastern side of Jeju Island, where the island's pristine beauty and rich culture converge seamlessly.

Begin your day with a visit to Seongsan Ilchulbong, often referred to as Sunrise Peak. This awe-inspiring volcanic crater stands as an iconic symbol of Jeju's geological marvels. The breathtaking views of the surrounding sea and the opportunity to witness a sunrise from this vantage point are unparalleled. Whether you arrive for sunrise or at another time, the hike to the summit offers a sense of accomplishment, and the vistas will leave you in awe.

After descending from Seongsan Ilchulbong, your next stop is the Seongeup Folk Village. Here, you'll step back in time and immerse yourself in the island's rich cultural heritage. Traditional thatched-roof houses, known as hanok, line the narrow lanes, offering a glimpse into Jeju's past. This living museum provides an authentic experience of rural Jeju life.

Next, continue your journey to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, one of Jeju's most enchanting natural wonders. The name translates to "Pond of the Emperor of Heaven," and it's easy to see why. The falls cascade gracefully into a serene pool, surrounded by lush vegetation and a mystical ambiance. Take a leisurely stroll along well-maintained pathways, breathing in the refreshing mist and listening to the soothing sounds of nature.

To round off your day, experience life on a Jeju tangerine farm. Jeju is renowned for its sweet and succulent tangerines, and this visit will allow you to pick these delectable fruits firsthand.
